Subscription billing is billed by Stripe. The amount actually charged is always the one shown by Stripe before confirmation.
Pro comes with a 14-day free trial. A card is required to start it, nothing is charged before day 14, and you can cancel before then.
The trial runs 14 days on Pro and requires a card. Nothing is charged before the end of the trial, and you can switch to Starter or cancel before then.
From the billing screen, open the Stripe customer portal and cancel at the end of the period. You keep access until the paid period ends.
Your access is maintained for a 7-day grace period. After that the account becomes read-only: your data stays visible and your published storefront stays online.
